I am often asked if the low blood pressure is normal or if such a reading indicates some abnormal process in the body? In fact – it can be difficult to define precisely what is meant by low BP. Everything really depends on what is normal for you as an individual.
If 1000 people have been reading are valued then we might expect to find a spread of readings. This can range from 80/50 to as high as 200/120 with the majority of people around the level of grouping of about 130 / 85. Most people have no symptoms – no matter what they read, actually. Even those with a low number will be free of obvious symptoms in most cases.
If the response is normal or abnormal to have a low reading level depends on what you have a typical or average BP.
Here is an example when it is normal to have low blood pressure.
If, for life, you always have a reading of about 90 / 50 – then you no doubt “low pressure”, but there’s really nothing wrong with you or with your reading. You should be happy that the risk of stroke or heart attack will be much less than many others. It is possible that they develop symptoms because of its “low BP”. To put it simply – the normal level for you and do not require investigation or treatment. This type of “low-normal BP” will not cause symptoms and require treatment. This is just part of you and how the system works.
So, when perhaps it is an abnormal result?
If the pressure is usually around 130 / 80 and suddenly or gradually decreased to a level of about 90 / 50, then it is very likely that you will be aware of symptoms associated with these changes. As in the example above you have “low pressure”, but in this case are not normal for you to have this low reading. You may need to consult your doctor to see because it is very likely that some other disease or medication could have caused the lower reading. A person who develops a low number like this often symptoms like those listed below.
The symptoms of abnormally low blood pressure may include:
Light-headedness, dizziness, tiredness or fatigue in power, fainting, blurred vision, while, or confusion while. All the symptoms of low blood pressure will settle if the blood pressure returned to normal.
The following are among the many possible causes of low blood pressure is abnormally low when:

Cause of treatment including dehydration, heart disease and heart valve disease, myocardial infarction, changes in heart rhythm, a bacterial infection in the system, kidney disease, diabetes mellitus and bleeding or hemorrhage.
